New Kids’ Clubs
March 2015 marked the launch of luxury tour operator Scott Dunn’s two newest Explorers children’s clubs, at NIYAMA resort in the Maldives, and Eagles Palace in Halkidiki, Greece. The two new clubs add to Scott Dunn’s existing portfolio that includes Croatia, Crete, Sicily, the Algarve, and Thailand.
Located 40 minutes by seaplane from Male in the South Western Atoll of Dhaalu, NIYAMA blends traditional Maldivian elegance with a contemporary feel. The new Explorers club – the first in the Maldives to offer care for children under 3 (and up to 12) – is run under the full supervision of UK childcare professionals. Activities include excursions and theme days, plus naptimes for younger children.
Eagles Palace is set on a golden sandy beach with beautiful sea views; it’s an award-winning traditional Greek property, family owned and run, with 161 refurbished rooms, suites and bungalows. The new Explorers club is available for ages four months to 13 years, mixing childcare with adventures and activities.
Explore the glamour and beauty of Sicily with a cultural five-day itinerary, “La Dolce Sicilia Vita”; the programme includes five nights’ accommodation in a beachside suite at Belmond Villa Sant’Andrea (built in 1830), near the famous town of Taormina. Extras includes a tour of Mount Etna (with a vineyard tour), a coastal tour in a Sicilian fishing boat, two dinners, a cooking class, spa treatments, transfers and more. Priced from €6,250 for two people, the deal is available from 2 April to 31 May, and 1 September to 31 October. To book, call +39 0185 2678 453.
