What's on in Hong Kong this weekend
14 October 2016
Hong Kong really hits a sweet spot in October - the humidity has finally eased off but the cold has not set in, making it a great time to get out and about and enjoy everything the city has to offer. As always, there's a diverse range of special activities on offer this weekend from a maternity conference, to comedy or even a chance to adopt a new furry friend for your family.
The Annual HK International Comedy Competition is one of the highlights of the Comedy Festival. Saturday night sees one of the preliminary finals in the competition with comedians including Ben Quinlan (HK, Australia), Deepak Chandran (Singapore, India), Jason Cheny (USA, Taiwan), Joch Diaz (Spain, Mexico), Leandro Soares (Japan, Brazil), Liam McDonald (Singapore, Canada), Pete Grella (HK, USA), Sanjay Manaktala (USA, India), Storm Xu (China) and Tamby Chan (HK, Canada) vying for your laughs.
