The weather is predicted to get a bit colder this weekend, but there's no dampener on the fun that you can have this weekend. With events as diverse as the high-octane Macau Grand Prix to a night enjoying the music of the HK Phil, there really is something for all tastes.
A carnival atmosphere descends for the annual spectacle which is the Macau Grand Prix, considered the world's premier Formula 3 event. Held on one of the world's most demanding circuits, the Guia Circuit, tickets start at HK$350.

Hong Kong’s largest craft beer festival returns for its fifth year. This annual event gives festival-goers the opportunity to learn more about beer and sample quality drops from around the globe. There’s food and music too. Tickets start at HK$285.

Renowned guitarist Xuefei Yang takes centre stage with the HK Phil in one of the most popular guitar concertos in the repertoire — Rodrigo’s Concierto de Aranjuez. The program also includes two iconic Gershwin scores, An American in Paris and Porgy and Bess, as well as the sensual rhythms and snappy castanets of Carmen. Conducted by Alexander Shelley. Tickets start at HK$180.

The 24 Hour Race is a student-led endurance event held in Hong Kong, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and South Korea, which aims to tackle the issue of modern slavery – specifically human trafficking. Since 2010 the races have had more than 1.5 million youth participants and raised more than HK$6.4 million for grassroots anti-human trafficking charities.

The Wine & Whisky Walk is part of the FUNtastic QRE Festival to showcase the fun and glamour of Wan Chai. The event will see the world's finest distilleries bring their award-winning whiskies and wines spread over the Queen’s Road East, Lee Tung Avenue and Ship Street at about 20 stylish outlets. Tickets entitle guests to sample fine wines and whiskies. Proceeds go to St James Settlement People's Food Bank.
