Showcase: Take a peek inside this Mediterranean-style home in Stanley, Hong Kong
5 May 2013
There is a house in Stanley that is like no other. It’s not big or grand; it doesn’t have a pool or a gym; a state-of-the-art kitchen or space-age technology. It’s just a little white house with a beautiful banyan tree in the front garden, frangipani bushes in the back and a view of the ocean.
What this unassuming house does have, however, is a totally unique atmosphere. It’s just a few miles from Central, but when you enter the front door you are instantly transported to a calmer place; a villa in Greece with a view of the Mediterranean, perhaps, or a village house in Provence.
