Sustainable furniture store gets online revamp
8 November 2016
Popular Hong Kong eco-chic furniture store is making shopping easier for your next couch, cabinet or coffee table with its new website. TREE's re-launched site allows you to browse their gorgeous furnishings online from the comfort of your home. “We’ve designed a completely new website which allows customers to explore our collections with ease,” Managing Director Kate Babington says. “We hope we’ve managed to capture a little of that special “TREE feeling” from our stores to the online experience too.”
You can now browse a comprehensive online catalogue of about 2000 pieces and find that perfect piece searching by category, room or collection. Add items to a personal wish list, send it to their sales team and they’ll also take care of the order and delivery. The revamped site also contains details about home styling and furniture customisation services, shipping and delivery and ongoing furnishing care advice.
TREE’s ethos is to create enduring, rather than disposable pieces, that will last a lifetime or more. “People come to us looking to invest in responsibly-sourced, beautifully crafted, solid wood furniture, with the knowledge that each piece is made with exceptional quality to last generations,” Kate says.
The company uses the term “eco-chic” to reflect that sustainability and style can, and do, go hand in hand. “It’s totally possible to live more sustainably and still have a beautiful home,” Kate says. “There are so many wonderful natural ‘eco’ materials and talented artisans across the world – we’ve made it our mission to bring them together to create timeless furniture and homewares that not only look good, but do good too.”
The furniture store has also launched an Instagram account full of inspirational snaps and a handy new blog on their website, where they plan to share stories on interiors and tips and tricks for creating a naturally stylish home.
The digital sphere is not the only space where there are new developments for TREE – they’ve also just opened a new store. “We are continuing to grow and evolve, with our latest development taking root in HomeSquare, Sha Tin,” Kate says.
Expect to fall in love with their stunning collections. “Our new store houses a curated ‘taster’ of our eco-chic collections and naturally stylish finishing touches,” says Kate. “It also gives our fans residing in New Territories a place that’s closer to home to experience their favourite pieces.”
