Hong Kong International School World’s Fair
April 1 @ 11:00 am - 3:00 pm
Hong Kong International School (HKIS) is hosting its annual World’s Fair on 1 April at its high school campus. The free event provides a unique fun‐filled family day out that celebrates the cultural diversity that is around Hong Kong. The event is open to the community and promises to be bigger and better than ever as the school marks its 50th anniversary.
This year’s World’s Fair is themed Vintage HKIS and aims to take visitors on a trip down memory lane to revisit the Hong Kong of yesteryear. There will be carnival retro games, a shopping village with items from around the world, a used book sale, student-led entertainment, a bake sale and a charity expo. In keeping with the theme there will also be delicious international food available from a range of cuisines including Chinese, Indian, Filipino, Japanese, Korean and Thai.
The event is organised by the Hong Kong International School Parent Faculty Organization. They advise that parking is not available at or near the school and that attendees should use taxis, public transportation, or one of the free shuttle buses provided for the event. Check the school website for further details here.
